Rift Copter Privacy Policy

Overview

Rift Copter is a one-touch arcade game developed by chancm02 Studios. This page explains what information may be used by the game, how ads and purchases work, how Google Play Games sign-in and leaderboards work, and how you can reset or request deletion of data.

Rift Copter can be played as a guest. Google Play Games sign-in is optional and is used for features such as leaderboards.

Information the app uses

Rift Copter is designed to collect as little information directly as possible. The app may use the following types of information:

• Gameplay data: scores, high scores, revive counts, remove-ads status, settings, and local progress.
• Guest profile data: a local guest name or guest identifier used inside the game.
• Google Play Games data: if you sign in, Google Play Games may provide your player name or player ID for leaderboard features.
• Purchase data: Google Play Billing may process purchase status for revives or remove-ads purchases.
• Advertising data: Google AdMob may process device identifiers, advertising identifiers, app activity, and ad interaction data to show ads and measure ad performance.
• Diagnostics: Google Play, Android, or related services may process crash logs, diagnostics, and performance information.

chancm02 Studios does not directly collect payment card numbers, banking details, government ID numbers, health information, or financial account information through Rift Copter.

Local data stored on your device

Rift Copter may store some information locally on your device, including:

• Guest account choice
• Guest display name
• Local high scores
• Music and sound settings
• Revive counts
• Remove-ads status

Local data is usually removed if you clear the app's storage or uninstall the app. Purchases may be restorable through Google Play if they are linked to your Google Play account.

Google Play Games sign-in and leaderboards

Google Play Games sign-in is optional. If you choose to sign in, the game may use your Google Play Games player profile information, such as your player name or player ID, to show your account status and submit scores to leaderboards.

Leaderboard scores submitted to Google Play Games are managed by Google Play Games Services and may be visible according to your Google Play Games privacy settings.

You can continue playing as a guest if you do not want to use Google Play Games sign-in.

Ads

Rift Copter uses Google AdMob to show ads, including interstitial ads and rewarded ads. Rewarded ads are optional and may be used to continue a run when available.

AdMob may collect or process data such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers, approximate location, app activity, ad views, and ad interactions. Ad behavior may depend on your device settings, Google account settings, consent settings, and applicable laws.

Rift Copter may offer a one-time purchase to remove forced ads. Rewarded ads may still appear only when voluntarily selected for a reward, depending on the app version and available features.

In-app purchases

Rift Copter uses Google Play Billing for purchases such as revive packs and remove ads. Purchases are processed by Google Play. chancm02 Studios does not directly receive or store your payment card details.

Purchase history and entitlement status may be used by the app to unlock purchased items or restore purchases.

Data sharing

Rift Copter may share or allow processing of data through third-party services needed to operate the app, including:

• Google AdMob for ads
• Google Play Billing for purchases
• Google Play Games Services for optional sign-in and leaderboards
• Google Play services and Android platform services for app functionality, diagnostics, and security

These services may process data according to their own privacy policies and your Google account/device settings.

Children and target audience

Rift Copter is a general arcade game and is not specifically directed to children under 13. The app may contain ads and in-app purchases. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided information that should be removed, please contact us.

How to reset local game data

Resetting local data may remove guest progress, local settings, local high scores, and local guest identity from the device. Google Play purchases may remain linked to your Google Play account and may be restorable.

Option 1: Reset inside the app

Open Rift Copter, go to Settings, and use any available reset, sign-out, switch account, or restore purchase options.

Option 2: Clear app storage on Android

1. Open your device Settings.
2. Go to Apps or Apps & notifications.
3. Select Rift Copter.
4. Tap Storage.
5. Tap Clear storage or Clear data.

Option 3: Uninstall the app

Uninstalling Rift Copter may remove locally stored game data from the device. Some purchase or leaderboard data may still be managed by Google Play or Google Play Games.

How to request data deletion

• The name of the app: Rift Copter
• Your Google Play Games player name or player ID, if applicable
• A brief description of what you want deleted or reset

Some data, such as Google Play purchase records, Google Play Games leaderboard entries, or advertising data, may be controlled by Google and may need to be managed through your Google account, Google Play Games profile, or device settings.

Security

Rift Copter relies on Google Play, Google Play Billing, Google Play Games Services, AdMob, and Android platform security for related account, purchase, ad, and leaderboard functionality. Data handled by these services is generally transmitted using secure connections.

Changes to this policy

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. If changes are made, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be changed.
